Firstly, the main reason I made this group is so people have a place to appreciate nature, through art and literature, and see other people's work. At the moment things are pretty bare, but I hope things will start to fill up as time goes on. I've noticed with a lot of groups that there are various rules and restrictions regarding submissions, I hope not to have to do that, so if anyone would like to become an administrator and help out, just send me a note :). I hope people will join, and have fun ^^ The only rules I have at the moment are; Any submissions have to be relating to nature. Nothing offensive, either in comments or submissions Okay, just thought I'd post some guidelines for photography submissions, though it seems everyone is sticking to them already. Any pictures of animals have to be either in their natural habitat, or, if from zoos or pets, not positioned deliberately, so they are where they are by their own will. Plants also have to be positioned naturally, not in a vase etc. With scenery and the like, nature has to be the main focus, such as a sunset, sky, fields, the sea. This is necessary, unless you want to make a statement about nature/the environment, in which case it has to be noticeable or in the title/description. I hope that's clear, and fair too. With other medias similar rules apply - the main focus has to be nature, no 'posed' animals and plant. With literature, it is more difficult to define, so submit what you think is suitable and I'll check it out :) Thanks to everyone who has joined, or joins this club. |
